Melanie Dickerson Hi, Ela! I love hearing from readers which books or characters are their favorites, but it's really hard for me to pick a favorite. I have favorite things about each of my books. But I have to admit, The Golden Braid is a favorite, for various reasons. It has a special place in my heart. :-)

I was wondering if you ever had a plan for a book, then finished and realized that you didn't have enough of indication of something in the plot.
