Susan Mallery Hi, Margaret! The Desert Rogues books came about because my editor asked me if I would be willing to write a sheik romance. I said sure, and I loved it so much that I kept writing them. My sheik books are pure fantasy, just fabulous desert romps. I enjoyed everything about writing those books.
