I'll be answering this question more in depth both in A Strange Hymn (The Bargainer #2) as well as the FAQ page I'll be posting on my website. But the simple answer is that no, Callie didn't lose any of her powers. If anything, she became more powerful. The wings, scales, and claws were latent aspects of Callie's siren that the mad king brought forth with his power. There's more to this answer that I'll add on my FAQ page and in the second book.
