I am not nearly as badass as any of my characters I don't think. But Shazad definitely has a few elements of me (again, I'm not nearly as badass!). She's one of the only people in the book raised by a stable, loving family and her family structure is the same as mine (Two Parent household, older daughter, younger son). She's the one who gets things done when everyone else is having personal drama, she relies on her friends a lot, and the concept that she is lesser than someone because of her gender has never crossed her mind.

I love your writing style so much! When can we get a description of the third book? I love Amani and her world. The ending of Traitor to the Throne has left me wanting to get an idea of what happens next. I know it's early to be asking these question since it just came out, but I couldn't help myself.
