Max Nichols
Max Nichols asked Alwyn Hamilton:

What's your writing process like? Word or Scrivener? Plotter or panster?

Alwyn Hamilton I write in word, I looked at Scrivener but I found it intimidating.

I would describe myself as neither a plotter or a pantser but a daydreamer. I spend a lot of time before I ever set fingers to keyboard telling myself the story, as I commute, as I try to fall asleep, and daydreaming certain scenarios for character. Usually over months and months. Enough of that and the story starts to come together in your mind, so by the time I sit down to write, I have certain key scenes visualized, I know my characters, I know my world, and I find what I don't have yet on the page.
