How do you get inspired to write?

Robert Long Foreman I don't have to get inspired. I have children, and so my access to writing time is severely limited. I never seem to have the time to write all the things I want to write, and so I always have a backlog of projects I want to get to, some of which I'll never get to, I am coming to realize. There are things I want to write that I'll never write, because I'll die before I find the time to write them. So I'm always inspired, but I'm always really depressed about inspiration.
