Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Stephen David Hurley One day in a bookstore I found a hardcopy of Vita Sackville-West's SAINT JOAN of ARC. Jeanne d' Arc, her life and her words, became an obsession. I tried to image what young people today would think of her; Jeanne was a real superhero and I wanted to share her life with my readers in a contemporary setting. That's how Cease & Desist was born.
