I love Among Others, and I have written two blogs posts about it so far. It seems so unknown, and to me, that's a crime. I just rec'd it last week on a friend's blog. Hopefully that will bring it to more people's attention. My question is, what are you working on now? And do you have any plans for any more fantasy-centered works like Among Others?

Thank you for doing what you can to promote my work! It's much appreciated.
Among Others may seem unknown to you, but it's far and away my most popular book, it won a bunch of awards and has been translated into sixteen languages.
I've published thirteen novels, and almost all of them are fantasy. None of them are like Among Others though, not really, because I get bored with writing things that are the same as each other. This is how I could write Among Others, in fact, it was my ninth novel, and I was open to doing something different because I always am. I'm not going to write something else like it, because I wrote it already and I am done with that now.
Right now I'm just finishing a science fiction novel set on Mars called Poor Relations. My planned next book is a historical fantasy about Savonarola.

Is there a possibility of another book collection of some of your Tor posts? I know I could pull them up on the computer, but I would love to have more of them gathered together... When you were posting regularly on Tor I used to check there regularly - there is something in the way you burble about books, even books I don't like, which gives me great joy. Thank you for giving it so much time!
