How do you deal with writer’s block?

Brian S. Ference I have never really suffered from writer's block my entire life (knock on wood). I have always taken the approach of just start writing and the words sort of flow onto the paper. The worst thing you can do is stare at a blank page for hours on end. Get something down just to start and then you can cross out or throw away the bad and keep the good. Doing nothing is really the worst thing you can do.
