I apologize this is not a question, but after reading your book I just have to thank you. I am a college student, a broke one at that when I bought your book. I just wanted to acknowledge like many others the dedication it took to write this book and also the courage you had to have on making this your second book. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this wonderful story with the world. Are you writing another?
Jeff Hobbs
Hi--thank you so much for this kind message. It means a lot that you would read and respond to Rob's story, and then reach out so thoughtfully. It really does. And I'm sorry for the years-long delay in responding to this--I really don't spend time on social websites but am trying to be better as my next book, Show Them You're Good, comes out in August. It's about young men finishing high school in different neighborhoods and aspiring for college. I wish you all the best on your journey, sincerely, Jeff

Jeff Hobbs:
I loved your book. Do you think that Robert Peace's father was wrongly convicted? The way you portrayed him did not sync with a person who would engage in such a violent act, yet it seems improbable that the gun would have been stolen from his apartment and then returned to his apartment. Do you have any opinion on his guilt or innocence?

Jeff Hobbs:
Hi Jeff, I do not really have a question. I just finished reading the book, and I have many different feelings about the story itself as well as about the end. I just wanted to say that I loved it and that I am definitely taking something from it with me. Thank you! Melisa Marcon (?) I just wrote the question mark because otherwise my comment would be sent. Sorry about that.

Greetings Jeff I must first say, in light of the current atmosphere of American blacks, my soft heart keeps me feeling merciful and teary-eyed lately. Robert has almost left me feeling hopeless. Admittedly, I thought you were an opportunist and insincere but after research I've found you genuinely loved him and wanted to set the record straight for those who equated him to just a ghetto-drug kid. Tk U4 that?
