Since you just revealed that there are going to be Keeper books 6 & 7, I was wondering this: Did you know from the beginning you were going to write 7 books? Or did you decide to write more since writing Lodestar?

I've never known exactly how many books the story will need, because it's hard to judge how much I can accomplish in a single book. So 7 may be the end. Or I may realize I need more and keep going--its too early to know.
Plus, when my publisher bought the series as a trilogy--and it was hard to know if I'd be allowed to add to it--I had to break all the story into threads and decide which ones I would play with and which ones wouldn't fit. That's why the story gets bigger in NEVERSEEN and LODESTAR, because I knew I had room to grow so I've woven more things in.
