Jeannine Berhel
Jeannine Berhel asked Caroline Sullivan:

Hello Caroline - I loved Bye-Bye Baby. I passed it on to a friend who formerly suffered a Hanson obsession similar to your Bay City Roller condition. And she loved it too! So I understand why you would write about BCR, but how did you come to choose Madonna as the subject of your second book?

Caroline Sullivan Hey, Jeannine, I'm glad you liked BBB. Thanks for the question.

I've always been a Madonna fan, but the idea of doing the book came from the publishers, Carlton. They wanted to put out a Madge biography that concentrated on her as an artist/musician rather than as a celebrity, and needed a writer to do the text. Someone introduced me to them and the next thing I knew, I was up to my neck in Madonna every day (in a manner of speaking) for the next three months.

I don't know if you've actually seen the book, but it looks beautiful, so I'm proud to have my name on it.

Do you mind if I use the term "Bay City Roller condition"?
