Sure, I've read Harlan and he's great. I think we have different styles, but we are working the same neighborhood -- when extraordinary things happen to ordinary people. Right now i am dipping a toe into Stephen King's Dark Tower series, which I have not read before, even though I am a huge fan. After that, maybe the new James Lee Burke or Lee Child. I have enjoyed reading all your books. I have just read a book I found on Amazon called "Mike Harris made me eat my dog" I think it was great, and wondered if you had thought of doing a similar book on Ont.'s present Premier Doug Ford. You wouldn't have to even make up funny quotes, he says them himself. Anyone that can make Donald Trump sound like a genius is a book waiting to be written. Will you think about it?

Hi Mr. Barclay! I am currently reading The Lie Maker and it is excellent. There is one part where you talk about disc jockeys or something to that effect spreading lies. Did you have a real person in mind? When I read that line a person with the initials JR popped into my mind and I wondered if I was way off base.
