How is Greer similar to (or maybe different from) the characters in your other books? Are there any characters of yours you feel she might be friends with if they were in the same place/time/novel?

She's as brave and resourceful as Ellerie Downing. She is a bit sheltered, much like Verity Thaumas, and--like all of my heroines--she will fiercely fight to save who she loves. As far as her differences go... you'll have to read to find out!
I think she'd get along well with any of my main characters... except for Sam Downing, who continues to be the Absolute Worst.

This is probably a dumb question and possibly unrelated to "A Land So Wide," but are you working on a third "House of..." book I remember reading someone that you are working on it and we can expect it in a year and it is about Lenore?! Thanks so much, I loved "The House of Salt and Sorrows" and "The House of Roots and Ruins" the twisted love was great!
