How do you get inspired to write?

Charles W. McDonald Jr. I really don't know how to answer this. My mind is mostly logical (left-brained), but something clicked for me in the early 90's and it was like this 'ah hah' moment where I felt like I had this amazing story to tell if I could figure out the mechanics of telling it. I think a lot of it (especially in 2016 and beyond) has to do with the absolutely horrific content I'm seeing on TV and in the theaters where there is almost nothing truly original anymore. The last truly original concept I saw brought to the movies was 'Inception,' and that was an eternity ago. I kept thinking to myself, 'My God, doesn't anyone write truly original ideas anymore...?' Thus, my standard for originality is quite high in this series, A Throne of Souls.
