A Goodreads user asked:

Is this book really that sick that it's about a girl who falls in love with a serial killer, or is it more to the story than just that?

dollzkull ... It's actually not about that at all, so...
Eris maybe you should read the book before you start making assumptions...just saying.
Lexi Turner Honestly dude if you think "stalking" means "falling in love," I don't think the sick person here is the author
Airion Someone doesn't know what stalking means. *eyeroll*
Dave Gamboa It's not about a girl who falls for the Ripper. It's about a girl who loves working with her Uncle Jonathon, who examines cadavers for the police, and in doing so meets a handsome young man studying with Uncle as well. There's quite a story here. Read my review. I loved this book.
Ariela Strombeck O my gosh!!! Saw this statement before reading the book and then the entire book I believed Cresswell was the killer. It was really suspenseful but I was really torn because I liked him as the love interest. Thanks for giving wrong information that REALLY spiced up my reading experience. LOL.
Haley Wells I don't want to spoil this for you, but she doesn't "fall in love with" Jack the Ripper. The Ripper ends up being someone she already knows very well and really cares about--someone she never suspected. Don't worry, she doesn't fall for a serial killer. This book is really great, very empathetic and humane actually, and I would definitely recommend reading it.
AL It's much more than that, I can't reveal much as it spoils the ending but you should definitely read it. Don't trust anyone
sasha why are you jumping to conclusions like that? please at least read the synopsis
S. Ahme Er...where did you get that assumption...the summary doesn't insinuate your exclamation at all...
Hopefully, you've read it by now and realized how sick of a book it is (but a different sort of sickk).
Caroline There's more to the story than that. The main love interest takes some twists as to if he is the killer or not, as she tries to figure out who the killer is/
Tina Sorensen When you read the book, you will understand why it states, "the girl who loved the Ripper." It will make sense and it's true.
Ellie Peterson Out of what I got from the book, I think it says that more about how she loves solving the case of Jack the Ripper, not falling in love with him himself if that helps
Emma It say that she loves the Ripper not that she's in love so just keep reading to find about who she talking about and think about she not in love with him she loves him.
