Wonderful book! I loved it. Like you, I have been wondering what is going on in my friend's marriage. Some of the things you mention are very similar to how my friend acts with her husband. Did you ever gain any insight into your friend's marriage? Also, did Jack really slip up and say Millie's room was red? I don't remember reading that. Or did Esther have some sort of intuition/insider information?

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! No, I never knew if there really was a problem in my friend's marriage or if I just imagined it. And yes, Jack say that Millie's room is red, on two occassions. He says it to destabilise Grace, hoping that no-one will pick up on it - and that if they do, he'll be able to charm his way out of it! But because he says it twice, Esther becomes supicious - luckly for Grace and Millie!

I really enjoyed Behind Closed Doors!! I loved all the twist and turns. Looking forward to reading the next book by you. I know Jack's childhood was explained, I wish there was more detail. He truly has so much more going on. Also, I wished there was more detail about his visits to Thailand. Such as were there indeed any victims there or was there an accomplice? What lead Esther to believe that something was wrong
