Hi Maya and Emma--what a fun article. I wish my answer were more exciting, but I personally have a hard time writing in public because I get too distracted by everything going on around me. So I tend to write at home, and even then, I can't be in too big of a room, otherwise my mind starts to wander. My favorite writing spots are either an especially comfy chair I set up in the corner of my office, or in bed, surrounded by my kitties. :)

Hi! Thank you for writing such beautiful books! I know how much work it takes to produce something so amazing. Which brings me to my question: have you ever participated in NaNoWriMo? If so, do you have any tips? I gave NaNo a try last year and while I reached my word count goal, I wasn't proud of what I had written. This year I want to strive for something much better. Oh no!
