How do you deal with writer’s block?

C.E. Medford I don't really believe in it. I don't call out of my office and say I've got work-block of any other kind - so why should the creative side of my life suffer through my mood or state of mind? Sure, I recognize the difference between days when writing feels effortless and inspired and days when it is like running through waist-deep water, but I don't think there's anything to do but show up at the computer and put your hours in.
