Why was there never a movie made from this?! Most of L.M Montgomery's have been adapted to a movie or a series! Why didn't this one ever become a movie it would have been very nice seeing the characters come to life!

Terri Marshall After I finished, my first thought was a movie with Audrey Hepburn as the lead. Much too late for that. But she would have been perfect in my mind.
