Hi quinn!, firstly, I would like to just say WOW! I have read the GWS and GHS series 3x over already. Anyway, I know that the birth of babies to the pack is dangerous without a healer present. Though I do understand that back in the 1700s it could be difficult to get a natural delivery, but why can't they visit the hospitals now that it is the 21st century already? Quinn Loftis Hey Mary, Thanks so much for the question. So glad you like the books!! They could visit hospitals, but complications could arise that would be werewolf specific. If that happened, it would be terribly awkward to explain to the doctors :)
