Is this book appropriate for a 10 year old? I see a 9 year old answered one of the questions below, but what do you mean by "far less graphic?" I've read some young adult books that are more graphic than regular adult books.

This book would be appropriate for a ten year old. I think the maturity level for this novel is about the same as the Percy Jackson series. If you are fine with your ten year old reading that series, this book should be alright. This book has a few fighting scenes but they are not graphic at all. There is also some kissing but other than that, that's it.(less)
