Hi! I wanted to let you know that me and my friends absolutely LOVE your Guardian Herd series! I have loved writing since I was little, and I am currently writing one. Any advice? I have to say my favorite character in the book is Dewberry, (she reminds me of me! Haha! ) Out of all 4 books in the series, which was the most fun to write? Thank you!!!! ~Sydney

Hi there and thanks for writing me! I'm thrilled to hear that you and your friends are enjoying the books (and I love Dewberry too). To answer your question, each book was quite different.
#1 STARFIRE was exciting and I cried a lot during the sad parts. But overall, it was like the book wrote me! #2 STORMBOUND was the most difficult to plot. #3 LANDFALL was a blast to write. I loved exploring new places in Anok and writing about the fighting techniques of the other herds. #4 WINDBORN was intense. I had to bring all the plot threads of the series together and write a big finale. I guess I felt some pressure there.

But I love how each book turned out, and I'm thrilled that I'm continuing the series with some new adventures starting in Fall of 2017. Stay tuned for The Guardian Herd: Dark Water Trials, Book #1 PROMISE KEEPER. I hope you enjoy the new trilogy. All my best, Jennifer
