Barbara I am really disappointed in the ending. I do like what happened but not for this book. It felt like the author was trying to accomplish a lot and squeeze in a surprise, twist of an ending. But I felt it didn't flow with the book.

Kerrie I loved the ending! I think so many authors introduce an issue like Anne's memory issue but then seem to completely forget about it. Was nice to see it tie into the ending.

Linda I was so mad when I read the ending! I'm like, really? After all she had been through....to do that....I was really expecting a happy ending so I guess I'm just in shock right now ( I just put it down) ... but I guess she did have mental problems, so it does fit.

Valencia Warner The ending just stopped! And I kept thinking, if Anne is arrested for Cynthia's murder, and Richard is locked up, then that leaves Alice and Marco to raise the baby, that doesn't seem right. Marco should not have gotten off Scott free and Cynthia should not have gotten killed! No! Marco and Anne should not have lived happily after. Marco was a jerk! to say the least! Val

Hamna Ch I think the ending was pretty good. Anne was sick of Cynthia and then what she said about Cora...Anne had mental issues so she might use that to get rid of any charges whether she killed her intentionally or not.

Rosa I just re-read the book since 2016. Marco and Anne live happily ever after? No way. Marco should end up in jail, he gets off too easy. Anne should have kicked him to the curb. But the ending made sense given Anne's mental condition.
