What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

K.C. Hardy Authors often give advise to aspiring writers to read, read, read. And it is so true. Writers are readers. Through reading other's work you find your own voice and strengthen your own writing skills. Just as important as reading though is to never give up. There were plenty times where we (Kristie and Cate) felt like throwing in the towel. Those days where we realized we were going to have to toss complete chapters in the trash made us both want to pull our hair out. But, we never gave up. Took a month break or two here and there to maintain our sanity, but we never, ever gave up. And you shouldn't either.
