Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Barbara Schoichet I had three major life-changing events happen over a six-month period. I lost my job at Paramount Pictures to a younger writer, my girlfriend of six years left me a week later for her hairdresser, and then my mom died of pancreatic cancer four days after she was diagnosed! And then I turned 50! I had to do something to rebalance my life, so I took motorcycle lessons, bought a Harley on Ebay then drove it from New York to Los Angeles -- alone. I made it back alive and thought I should tell others that they can push the envelope on their grief and find a way out of it, and Don't Think Twice was born!
