Great question, Seda.
First of all, you are not alone. At different times in our careers, we all experience some form of writer's block.
If you have ten minutes, listen to this interview I did earlier this year on New Hampshire Public Radio. I address a lot of "how to write" topics quickly:

Hi Chris. I have been to your book tour at Quail Ridge books in Raleigh NC for the last two Januarys. Your tour plans don't show you in NC at all this time. Is there still a chance that it might be added? I have read an early copy of The Sleepwalker (loved it) and would love to hear you talk about it. Thanks
