Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Phyllis J. Piano I had the idea for Hostile Takeover: A Love Story in my head for years. I just needed the time to write it! I worked on plenty of acquisitions and takeovers of companies in my career, so I could call on that experience in writing the book. The plot--particularly the romance part--was purely fictional, however. It was lots of fun to write. Even though I knew the major plot points, there were times I could surprise myself with a few twists.
