I know some authors write stand-alone novels of characters that have actually been introduced in previous books. Should I read your stand-alones in a specific order?

Ahren Sanders The only one of my books that currently follow this formula is Finn. He was introduced in my first series (Surrender Series) but his book was written 2 years later as a standalone.
Reed's Reckoning
Smokescreen
Hotshot
are all complete standalones.
