What inspired you to write By Your Side?

Kasie West Every year for the last 3 years I've done a signing in the Provo Library in Utah with some author friends. One time we were leaving the library late, after everyone had already left and I was talking to my friend Renee Collins and I said, this library is awesome. Wouldn't it be the best library to be trapped in with someone? She agreed and the story was born.
