The characters in your books seem so real. When I finish a book or the series is over, I feel disappointed. I want to know what happens next! Do the characters always end up as you expected when you start writing a series? Has there ever been a character that turned out different from your original plan? When you are writing and developing your characters, do they feel like friends or family to you?

Robyn Carr When you finish one of my books you should have a satisfied and positive feeling; I know the characters will come to a satisfactory and positive conclusion. But I don't always know how it will turn out. I don't always know how the characters will "evolve." I write one page at a time and ideas come as I develop the characters and story. But I will not write a book that just stops or ends unhappily.
