At what age did you start writing? And, if different, what age did you write and know you were going to be a writer in life. For me, I remember writing a lot at 16 but I was in my 20s when I realized I wanted to write and thought I might be good at it. Thanks! Patti

I never expected to be doing this. At the age of 25, a young mother, I decided rather suddenly to try to write a book and it hooked me. My life changed forever and I was so happy -- that's when writing took hold of me.

I love all your books. The characters you create are so easy to feel as if they are a community of close knit people. So when I read another book when it comes out it feels as if I am visiting old friends. I love the patriotism and commarodary of the people in the Virgin River series. Will there be more books coming in that series? I sure hope so otherwise I will be starting a fourth time rereading the series. Lol.
