Any advice for a Author in progress?

Robin Mahle Thanks for posing the question and it's a very good one, although difficult to answer. I guess I still consider myself a newbie. I have now 9 books published, but have only had any measurable success this year. It's tough going and I try to keep promotions running, particularly BookBub, if I'm lucky, which I have been this year. Facebook ads have been somewhat successful, and I continually work to build my email list. That being said, all I can really suggest for you is to keep writing. Publish, publish and publish some more. I've heard many successful indie authors say it took them 9 or 10 books before they saw good returns. That seems to be holding true for me.
