I love that many of the characters in the A&E series deal with loss, death, grief, and mental illness. I had never heard of the Project Semicolon before reading your series. What made you want to include such topics in your novels?

Carian Cole Hi! I feel like these are emotions that aren't talked about enough and people hide them or suppress them or think there is something wrong with them if they feel depressed or have anxiety, etc. I wanted to try to raise some awareness that almost everyone goes through times where they feel emotions like this and that there is help l, and life can get better and it's not a taboo frame of mind to be in. Life isn't easy for anyone. ❤️
