As you said: "Media in general has maligned, misinterpreted and misrepresented Tantrics as dark mystical people, indulging in sinister activities." Most often than not the words like Tantra Vidya and Black Magic are used as synonyms. So my question as a curious common man would be: 1. What exactly is Tantra then? Is it a science, a way of life or a calling? 2. How would you say it is different from black magic?
