Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Dave Johnston My first crack at writing was a YA Novel approx 70000 words (yet to be published). I found the process all consuming, and the thought of going back and editing it fills me with dread.
I wanted to make writing an enjoyable art, so I took stock, evaluated my experience, juggled some previous ideas together, and came up with the idea of writing a series of novellas that take exactly 60 minutes each to read.
I now have small chapters (each one minute long) that are easier to manage in individual chunks.
One day soon I plan to look back over that novel ....
