The idea for The Demon Hunter's Apprentice sprang from a strong desire to participate in National Novel Writing Month. I really wanted to see if I could complete a project of novel length inside of the given time.
In retrospect, the NANO format isn't necessarily the best way to approach a piece of writing, but the rush of constant, unbridled creativity is one I'll cherish forever.
Currently, I'm revisiting the novel, crafting a "Special Edition" of sorts. I'm enjoying fleshing out the characters and using the first book to setup events that will happen in the series' final volume.
