In "Horse Thieves", characters refer to their cars and trucks as horses, but there aren't any references to the actual animal. Are there actual flesh and blood horses in this world? Plowing a field somewhere? Or did they go extinct centuries ago? Were they just a mythical creature to begin with?

Patrick Scalisi That's an interesting question! In all of the time that I was doing worldbuilding for The Horse Thieves I never gave much thought to the existence of actual horses. I suppose they're out there somewhere, perhaps living in some horsey utopia where they don't have to put up with pesky human riders.
