As an author, you must read widely yourself. Sometimes, you may come across books that you feel are not as well written as they could be. Other times, perhaps, you read something that impresses your deeply. What two or three books have you read in your lifetime impressed you the most and perhaps even influenced you as a writer?

I just finished My Bare Naked Heart. Thank you for writing it. It felt much like my own experiences in college, though I attended a public college in the South in the early 1970s. I saw the five guys I got to know in my freshman year in your Magnificent Seven. Are you still writing the other books? I want to read them.
