I would not be able to read anything by O'Reilly. I doubt he and his co authors could be objective in their search for a truly historical perspective. Does anyone else agree?
David Howell I suspect the only people who would agree would be those who haven't read any of the books in this series and let their own personal bias get in the w…moreI suspect the only people who would agree would be those who haven't read any of the books in this series and let their own personal bias get in the way rather than take the time to read from authors of books (or talk to/hang out with people) that have opposing views and lifestyles to your own. I know that I struggle with such things many times but tire of the constant bickering among the "them vs. us" throngs.

Also keep in mind that he isn't the sole author of the book, Martin Dugard is credited too.

This is a good series if you like history.(less)
