Lisa Aldridge
Lisa Aldridge asked Laura Wolfe:

When you think of a new book idea, what do you work on first: plot, setting, or characters?

Laura Wolfe Great question! I generally think of the plot first and then create different characters who would bring the most (conflict, passion, drive, etc.) to the story. The setting seems to fall naturally into place as it is usually intertwined with the plot. In my books, the setting often ends up being one of the most important parts of the story.
