I am listening to the audio-book version of Everything I Never Told you, read by Cassandra Campbell, who is doing an excellent job. I have two short questions. One, does it bother you to have your book "read" via the ears (audio-book)? Two, how do you pronounce your last name? Thank you.

I don't mind at all how people want to engage with the book--audio-books definitely count, and Cassandra Campbell does a great job! Some people are visual learners, others are auditory learners, and I'm just happy if you decide to give the book a try.

Second, my last name is pronounced "ing," just like -ing.

I'm sure you hear this a lot, but I want to say thank you for writing such an amazing and visceral book. 'Everything I Never Told You' changed the way I read forever and I now tell people that it's definitely a "Must Read Before You Die" book. Hi Celeste! I just finished your book and loved it!! Beautiful writing. Very poignant. I was struck by your use of verb tense in the book. Very masterfully handled - could have been a train wreck in a less talented writer's hands. It was also very effective. What made you choose the different verb tenses in the book as a writing device?
