She definitely is the hero! As soon as Millie became part of the story, I knew she would be the one to save the day. I'm glad you enjoyed it - new book out next year :)

Sorry I missed the deadline; glad you may still be checking in. I was so impressed with the way you created a character that defined psychopath. Did you use any special techniques to make sure all the details were so finely connected/foolproof? Did you intend for it to be as prose-driven as plot-driven? The ending was spectacular. I wanted to let you know I absolutely love your books. I work at my local library and my one co-worker and I always try to be the first on the holds list for your books when they come out. We every so often do a staff picks display and each of us chooses six to ten books. This last round both me and my co-worker each chose a book by you. :-) Do you currently have another book in the works?
