I adore Daisy Sloan and I'm excited that you're gearing up to write her story! With Dolly Parton doing press this week for her new album/tour I have to wonder does Dolly know about Daisy? Is there a Dolly Parton song that you listen to when writing Daisy?

As far as I know, Dolly does not know about Daisy. I might freak out (or pass out) if she ever did. I love Dolly Parton and I'd really hope she'd love Daisy.
As for a song I listen to, no. I have a couple of Dolly's Greatest Hits albums (and I'm sure Daisy has a LOT more -- not to mention her entire film catalog in DVD -- and she probably follows her on Twitter (as I do)). But Dolly was well-loved by many in my family growing up, so she's a part of my growing up, so it doesn't take much for me to get in the Dolly/Daisy spirit!
