I think I follow what you mean on the archetypes question, but it's not a terminology I use when planning my stories so... maybe? Not intentionally, though.
While Mars arguably has the technology to make Augments, they've never combined it in that sense. Legatus is significantly ahead of the rest of the Protectorate in terms of weapons-grade augmentation (and several other technologies, but those would be spoilers!)
