Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Elizabeth Forbes I have a son currently serving in the Army and so I have always been interested in the effects that going on tour to various war zones has on our young men and women. I read Jake Wood's 'Among You: The Extraordinary Story of a Young Man Broken by War' and heard him being interviewed on various media. I'm also fascinated by the identities we choose to present to the world, and the idea of someone hiding behind a mask. Can you ever really know anyone? Can you ever really know yourself?
