Wait, I checked IMDB, and who are Jake and Doris? Are they Mason and Katelyn? Liam is a country star? Please tell me that they only changed minor details and didn't re-write your book. That would be tragic.

Heidi McLaughlin Unfortunately there have been changes, as with most book to movie adaptations and they're considerable. "Jake" is actually a brother to Josie.

As for Liam being country - think Luke Bryan, etc...

Regardless of the changes though - I love the script and am very excited about the movie. Does it hurt that it's not 100% everything from FMG, yep it does, but I'm not the producer.
