Question 2 on behalf of Tyler Waters: "Were any of the books emotional for you, which were and why?"

Rachael Craw Each book has a moment or two of where I experienced very strong emotion. In book one, Spark, the BIG reveal/plot twist and Evie processing these new revelations had me feeling all the feels. In Shield, book 3, the parts that brought me to tears were the scenes where Evie was dealing with major family issues. But undoubtedly my most emotional experience was Stray, book 2 both in the challenge of completing the novel but in the ending - you KNOW what I mean. It was like cutting my heart from my chest. I fought against that outcome for a long time and when I realised that I had to let the story go where it wanted to go, I sobbed and sobbed.
