Does anyone like that the author wrote the railroad as a physical, operating one? I felt it unnecessary and beyond the scope of possibility.

I actually had to re-read it a couple times to see if what I read was correct. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. I wanted to read this book to educate myself more about the history of the Underground Railroad and I'm not sure if it was the right choice to make for that. I'm going to keep reading and see where it goes because I like the story line so far and I'm liking the characters. I guess we'll see where it goes from here. (less)
