Dear Alex: I am reading book #5 of the Scotland Murder Squad. I picked it up at NYPL just to give it a try. I am enjoying your novel. I have a question, if you can answer it. What is the obsession people have with Jack the Ripper? I personally think Jack was a woman dressed like a man. She killed the women out of revenge of the death of her husband and she snapped. That's my theory.

I think maybe Jack was the first real serial killer, and he/she got away with it. That makes him/her eternally scary. And I think it's entirely credible that Jack was a woman. I try to reflect that with the character of Mrs Parker in the fifth book.

Good Evening I just started reading Red Rabbit and read the passage from the book "The Call of the Nighfall King". Is that a real book? I looked Ubel H H F Crane and the book title on Google and can't find anything. That bit alone on pages 19/20 of Red Rabbit makes me want to read that book. If it is real.
